Learning new words! Sounds boring, right? Or tough? Don’t we all just love the use of nice, juicy and snappy words? The answer is straightforward, we all want to be well-spoken but it’s a drag to either mug up these words and their meanings and what not.

There might be diverse solutions to this problem and watching a movie is one of them. No need to rub your eyes, you read that correctly, movies! We all love watching movies, be it a romantic comedy or a spine chilling horror. They all have words, well unless you like watching silent movies, learning new words through movies is a great way to start. If you lack focus, it’s just the thing for you. The catchy plot of the movie will glue you down to this new way of learning.

Make a list of new words you find in the movie and jot them down right next to their meanings and guess what? Maybe after the movie, you might even like to repeat the dialogues, those words appeared in, adding fun to the pronunciation part of it. That is fun for the guys out there who fancy a little bit of mimicry.

Just putting out a thought, I am just starting with it and so can you! PS I got this idea while watching ‘Pay it forward’. It’s a beautiful movie with a lot of new words to learn. I am sharing my list of words from that movie. Feel free to share yours. Let’s become RICH, I mean vocabulary wise :P. Cheers!

List of words
List of words.
